Condom Company Uses High Cost of Having a Kid as Motivation

We love our trendy and chic Proper Attire condoms but, if we were forced to choose a second favorite, we’d probably go with this new brand—Sir Richard’s.

We wouldn’t choose Sir Richard’s for their effectiveness or durability, but for their humorous ad campaign centered around the cost of having a child.

On each box of condoms, a big red sticker reads, “Suggested retail: $874 less than a Bugaboo Stroller.” Or, “$1,154 less than a year of diapers.” They advertise in New York by comparing the tuition of top-notch private schools in the area, with a discreet plug for Sir Richard’s.

If these numbers aren’t enough to make you want to use protection, we don’t know what is.
